adapting to sloppy shift question

Click on the "SUBSCRIBE" tab to sign up. I will not respond to technical questions unless you are a paid subscriber. Calibration and Config files will not open directly from the site, they must be downloaded to your computer in order to open. I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

adapting to sloppy shift question

Steve,

Followed your strategy for tuning my 6l80 in 14 camaro ss.  When I reset adaptives, the transmission is spot on for the way I want it to work.  Fast, Firm shifts and never misses shifting at 7000 rpm. over the course of driving for 2-3 weeks the trans will adapt towards sloppy shifts and will eventually miss the 3-4 WOT shift.  I can reset adaptives and it will function perfect again.  Cammed car still with VVT, PTC 4000 stall with triple disc lockup, 3.91 gears, and overfilled 1 quart.  What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks, Dave
