I have a 6l80e and have always tuned zero torque managment with a PATC built trans and it lived for 2 1/2 - 3 years at 750-900 rwhp and drag slicks. Finallyl got a rebuild and only thing bad was the clutches were wore out. No hard parts broken. I had always set nitrous controler to cycle off between shifts. Now thought about tuning IN a little Trq Mangmnt and then spray during the shifts.
The problem I have is Torque Management total time frame between ramping down timing and then ramping back in has been impossible to adjust. I can increase or decrease torque management but reducing the actual time between on and off has been a challenge. Between 3rd and 4th gear approx. 0.4 to 0.5 tenths of a second elapse with the reduced timing. This is enough time as to substantially hinder my acceleration. I have my Spark minimum TqMgt set to 4* but thought I may raise somewhat. I dont know how this table affects RPM Limiter and would hate to not pull enough timing when I hit limiter if I blow tires.
Can you explain this table and if it also affects the Engine RMP limiter settings?
