NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Converter lock up question

The car is a 2013 ctsv with a stage 4 circle d 6l90 and a circle d triple disk.

When tuning for the converter lockup I know it's not supposed to slip into lockup like a stock converter would. I have set the minimum psi to 48 for this reason.

This pressure works great however when I downshift the converter locks up a second after the downshift completes. This results in a very jerky lockup it feels like dropping the clutch in a manual car instead of slipping it when downshifting.

So when I downshift I keep my foot on the gas a little so the rpms don't drop a lot and the converter does not lock up very hard. Is there a way around this or is this just the logic of these transmissions to lock up a second after the downshift? Can I slip the converter a bit more without glazing it/burning it out quicker?

I attached the tune if you would like to see the settings.
