Light throttle, converter unlocks

NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Light throttle, converter unlocks

2013 avalanche, 2800yank converter.

Trans feels great and shifts great, got the tcc locking where i want, shifts extended, feels good all around.
But, just a small issue.

- in 6th gear with converter locked, light throttle to climb a small hill, when top of the hill is reached, throttle is lifted just a bit and then the converter unlocks for a split second and locks again.
that's the short version.

i have 5th gear engaging around 40mph, then tcc at 43mph or so, it will do this in 5th as well.

with the higher stall, everything is a lot more noticable and of course you can feel when the converter locks and unlocks, especially in a heavy avalanche.

so when reaching the top of the hill, or to slow down a bit due to traffic, how can i keep the converter locked when throttle is lifted just a little?

just to be specific, when throttle is lifted, it's not lifted all the way, no throttle, just enough to stop accelerating. i understand that the converter may and does unlock when throttle is lifted completely, but i'd like to keep the converter locked when the throttle transitions from say 25% down to 15%; without having the converter flare and lock immediately.

thanks for reading the long drawn out explanation.
