Changing shift time settings from the old to the new

NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Changing shift time settings from the old to the new

On the older 80 calibrations the base shift time tables are populated and the inertia and torque adders are also used but in the newer 80 cals the base shift time tables are zero'd and most all of the work is done with the inertia/torque adders tables. In the past I've modified the older cals to more closely resemble the operation of the newer cals but it always seems to introduce undesirable affects (weird shifts, some flares) even when the math works out the same between all of the adders. It has made me just leave the original operation in tact and just adjust the tables as they were originally setup to work by GM and gone with the flow so to speak.

My question is, has anybody else done much of this and what has your experience been?
