NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

11' 6.2 4wd sierra tuning

My trucks a 11 6.2 sierra 4wd NHT 3:73 gears the only mod it has is a Volant CAI.

I had a custom dyno tune done on the engine and trans from a shop that works hand in hand with our shop on many builds we have done for years but.  The engine tune is dead on and it runs great the trans tune on the other hand is waaaay better than stock but is lacking in shift quality. It has a nice solid upshift as long as you leave it in regular drive but sometimes it just feels clunky while downshifting.  But anytime it's put in manual mode or tow haul it gets some really weird shifts and sometimes if you go WOT it will do a what I call double bang downshift that is flat scary.

Im a gm tech so I figure the smartest way to go about this would be to save the tune currently in there using HP tuners just so I have it.  Then reflash the trans to full stock using my GM software so it has a correct blank slate to start with.  These are my goals for the tranny that I would like it to do if there's anyone who minds volunteering a few starting points.

Want it to shift firmer and faster not violent just want to feel the shift when it occurs,  No TCC lockup under 50 MPH tcc surge is annoying and bad for the trans,

WOT shift points raised, all upshift points raised, WOT shift RPM raised, all downshift points raised don't want it holding 6th until 40 MPH when slowing down from 75+ coming into towns, General advice on TM settings that satisfy the above and keep the trans happy

I've been reading here for the last month and on performancetrucks.ne for years  and figured I would get brave enough to ask for some advice before really starting to alter stuff.
