I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Rebuild Kits for the 6L80e

Hi Guys,

Here in Australia there is a lack of parts for the 6L80e available.

Can you recommend a supplier I can order a good strong rebuild kit from. I have been trying to use PATC although it is very confusing and i haven't been able to get much help on what i need.

Also, what the current trans seems to be doing is it will run fine in 1st and 2nd but it seems 3rd slips badly to the point that the car no longer moves in any gears. Reverse also causes the same issue, it moves about 10m and stops all together. Eventually "Solenoid stuck off" error codes then are thrown. If the trans is then left to rest for 10mins or reset it moves again until the above issues kick in.

To me this would indicate an issue with the 3-5-R clutches/pistons/solenoids but another tuner has convinced the customer this is a tuning issue without even seeing the car (the car left running well after the engine was heavily modified).

Any advice on this two part question?
