2->3 gear issue

NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

2->3 gear issue

Hi, newbie here. It's new to me that I can in fact do something to my trans except change the oil and filter, I mostly work on classic cars. But now I have a great 2009 CTS-V, with a problem. Most shifts can't be felt almost during normal driving, as I like it, but the 2nd to 3rd shift is sometimes "delayed", there's a split second where there seems to be no gear at all. It varies, mostly the problem is at medium acceleration.

I've tried replacing the DX VI and filled up probably 1 qt more, it seemed help, especially at the start. But then it got back to the old way again. Did another change of oil in the pan, almost an additional qt, no change.

Somebody on ctsvowners.com recommended this site, and said that there was things that could be bought that would enable me to reset, adjust, whatever my transmission. A whole new world for me.

Any help will be appreciated.
