2009 CTS-V, harsh 2-3 between 3000-5000rpm and part throttle

NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

2009 CTS-V, harsh 2-3 between 3000-5000rpm and part throttle

Hey Steve,

I've been noticing this for a while. When I'm driving around with the paddle shifters, my 2-3 shift is harsh, kinda, well the car lurches a bit and it feels like it lags then kicks into gear. It only happens between around 3000rpm and 5000rpm. At WOT in TUTD shifting at 6000rpm automatically, the shift is always smooth as butter, and under 3000rpm the shift is also smooth. It gets harsher the higher up in the RPM range you go, then just... goes away. This is of course a bit annoying cruising around town, since I like to ride 2nd out to cruising speed (50mph) and then shift out of 2nd to 4th or 5th for cruising.

I'm running stock pressures and shift times at the moment - I reset them to stock recently to see if it'd help with the 2-3 and it helped some, but it's still not perfect. Pretty much the entire trans tune other than shift MPH is stock.

Any ideas? I've attached my tune and can do some data logging in the next few days.

Cheers,
James
