I have a 2013 V with some bolt ons and am looking for advice regarding a few issues I'm having with my tune. The car has been tuned by two different people. The second tune was much better than the first, and until I get my own copy of HP Tuners (buying one next month) the tuner is willing to continue to make changes to tweak the tune for free. The car has 1 7/8" Kooks long tubes into 3" catless x pipe and mid pipes, Mamo 87mm TB, Airaid with a Green filter, 2.4" griptech, FIC 1000 injectors, NGK BR7's gaped to 0.030" HX and pump upgrades, and 2 gallon reservoir under the hood. Overall the cars runs good, but I still have a few issues that need to be worked out, which are listed below:
-Flare in the 2-3 shift. Torque management is pulling up to 20* of timing on this shift. I plan on checking the transmission fluid level this weekend. It was serviced before any mods were installed (2,500 miles ago) so it should be full.
-When the car is coasting it feels like something in the transmission in grabbing for a second then it releases. It causes the car to kind of lunge when its coasting
-The shifts in sport mode feel a little too aggressive.
-When applying light throttle followed by immediately letting off, the rpm's dip below target. It seems worse in reverse, and even worse in either direction with the AC on. The car has stalled a few times when I was backing out of my driveway. We zero'd out all three AC torque tables, but it didnt help.
-I-m getting random knock retard when at under two conditions.
1. light throttle at low rpm. Its not sustained and its over in 0.15 seconds. The max value for this condition I've seen is 1.58*
2. During the PE transition when command AFR is richer than actual. Its not sustained and its over in 0.15 seconds. The max value for this condition I've seen is 0.527*
My current tune file is attached. Any tips or guidence will be greatly appreciated.
