NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Fast Learn doesn't appear to start

Hi Steve,

I have a 6l80e out of a VF commodore OS 24267577.  I am running a Megasquirt ECU for the LS2 twin turbo and a TCM 2650 to send the torque signal and rpm to the 6l80e.

I was experiencing issues like hitting the limiter between 3rd and 4th until I changed the pressure pattern to use Y.  Then it was ok which I found weird.

I recently have started hearing like a squeek but more of a squark if thats a sound when shifting from 4th to 5th under load.  It is a stock transmission with stock converter. Any idea what this noise could be?

I have recently tried to do a fast learn with HP tuners but I don't get any feedback.  I have read online people getting notice like its not at temp, but for me I don't get anything.  It's made me question whether my brake signal is working correctly as I read you need to have your brake on.

I read in your site that it doesn't work for later OS's.  Did I understand this correctly?

Would you know if my OS is too late? OS 24267577  I have also tried doing an entire write of a corvette OS 24256125

I am about to pull the engine out to rebuild it and I am going to attempt rebuilding the 6l80e but I wanted to confirm fast learn was ready to go when it was fresh.  I don't want to put a fresh engine through shifts that hit the limiter.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks Marco
