NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

2015 ZL1 6l90

Hello,

I'm new to this forum but lots of good info here to sort through. I have been doing my own engine tuning for quite a while and feel comfortabe with that but this is my first crack at the 6L series trans. It seems like most of the info here is based on the 6l80 or the 2011/12 90's and I've noticed some parameters in my stock tune are already more agressive than the recomended settings for pressure in the articles....particularly the downshift and oncomming pressure presets. SInce my downshift pressures are already higher do you still recomend rasing them by 40psi or leave them? Some guys on hptuners forum are having good luck with raising oncomming pressures quite high but again, mine are already 10psi higher than your recomended settings (2011 ctsv mod file) so I'm curious if you would feel comfortable raising them further?

Shift times are similar with my stock settings faster in much of the areas except high rpm where yours are faster...I'm planning on taking the best of both worlds and using the shortest in each area to try. It will be trial and error I understand but with all the mystery surrounding these trans I don't want to smoke it either.
