NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

700+ rwhp 6L80e tune wot shift help

Hey guys, I just signed up on here a couple of days ago because of a car I'm currently tuning.  It is a 2008 base c6 corvette with a 6L80e and 2.73 rear gear.  The car has stock runflat tires.  We installed an A&A supercharger system using a T-trim vortech head unit.  With 12 lbs of boost, a custom camshaft, and long tube headers the car makes 703 rwhp.  The car has 80 lb/hr FIC injectors.  The tune was done in lambda with the double stoich, half flow rate method.

The maf curve is tuned in by lambda error and is good at wot.  LTFT's are disabled.  STFTs are rich if anything during normal part throttle driving.

Part throttle shifting when less than 40% throttle or so is fine.  I have left line pressure and shift time data stock with good results for part throttle shifting with my changes to the shift mph and rpm based on a 6Lxxe spreadsheet I downloaded at some point a long time ago.  Shift tables are all matched in terms of speed and wot speed is also matched.

With anything much more than 40% throtte in 1st or 2nd gear the car blows the tires off.  I made changes to the shift pressure and time based on the articles found on here as well as modifications to the torque management based on the article here.  Basically the car just goes for the rev limiter....it has made the shift from 1-2 but logged that it took around 1 full second to complete.  2-3 will not complete.  I have set shift mph and rpm way lower than desired with no change.  My last attempt was 5000 rpms from 1-2 and 2-3 with the appropriately matched mph with no luck.

Can anyone make one of these transmissions shift when spinning the tires with this kind of hp?  I have tuned a few hundred late model GM vehicles with some making over 1000 rwhp....  Making a 6L80e shift with 600+ rwhp is all but impossible for me however.

I will post the tunes I have tried.  One is using stock transmission parameters other that the shift points.  One is the tune I did based on data found here.  The other is a tune based on data which can be found in "The Tuning Schools" advanced tuning guide.  I've checked the fluid level and then added an additional qt of fluid already.  I have also sucessfully done a "FAST LEARN".

Any advice or help that may be offered would be greatly appreciated!
