Fitst of all thanks for having this wonderfull site that is dedicated to just one topic that is very important and I'm happy to support and be a part of this community. I'm having a hard time finding "one stop shopping" and this looks like it could be the place!
I have a 2010 JKU with a 2013 5.3/6l80e (motech kit) that was done almost 4 years ago and was solid. Over the winter I had replaced my engine mounts and while everything was apart I replaced the stock converter with a GM 24045127, 2200 stall compared to the stock 1600. Nothing changed in the tune and previously manual mode and tap shift worked perffectly. In 4 low I could pull back to D1 and the Jeep would crawl down a steep grade with no brake input and I could also tap up/down when in D2, handy for mountain descents.
Now after the coverter change, TUTD is not working as it did, I can shift it to D1 one and the PRNDL will change but the trans doesnt hold the gear. D2 will shift from 1-2 and hold there but never go back to 1st. Everythign else about the driveabilty in 2wd on the highway is great, it is just useless right now for crawling around on rocks. As I said the tune is the same, the converter is differnet and I am having a hard time understanding what needs adjusted. I think I have the wrong converter for what I want to do with this jeep (overlanding/rock crawling) and am tempted to switch back to the other converter but I wanted to see if there was an easier soluiton via tuning that woudl make this usebable for me. I have attaced my tune and trans log file that I would appreciate feedback on. I have hp but would not say I am a tuner, but have learned a little.
Thank you,
Jeff
