NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Base tune for an 11 Silverado with a built 6L80E

I have HP tuners.

My 6L80 is out for a converter clutch failure. I'm going with the parts below. Hoping to figure out what needs to be changed within the tune to make it safe and perform better until I can get it dialed in on the dyno (converter failed during the last tuning attempt) I have no local dyno available within 200 miles.

  Trans parts:

   CDT stage 2.5 overhaul kit

   ZL1 converter

  modifications:

6.0 with dod delete, truck norris cam, PRC 317 heads, longtube headers, ported throttle body and intake, 3.42 gears, cold air, other supporting mods.
Truck is a 4x4 but is being used as a truck, no lift, no big tires.  When I do haul it tends to be heavy. I do know from previous experience the tune likes to hold very high in tow/haul (over 4k easy) and before the failure it had issues with shift flaring.
Seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there on how to approach this...and I would rather not gamble on a new transmission.
