EFI Live / HPT tuning on non-factory clutch packs

NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

EFI Live / HPT tuning on non-factory clutch packs

Hi guys,
Stumbled upon your website looking for more info, thought it'd be a good idea to join up and so far been worth every cent.
We've been tuning 6L80e / 6L90e using EFI Live with good results  ( we also have HPT ) for the last 5 yrs or so. However every now and then we tune boxes which have been built by one of the "local auto trans gurus" which doesn't seem to respond so well to our usual adjustments and generally ends up with a burnt 3/5R or 4/5/6 clutch and ofcourse the finger gets pointed at us.
We've gone out on a limb and bought up a heap of PATC & Sonnax parts , and have since proceeded to build up our own 6L80e for testing.
So far so good, however we are trying to get our heads around ways of increasing clamping pressures and understanding how the TCM works with the adaptive shifting.
I have attached a pic , can anyone here elaborate on these tables as in how they affect the operation?
I understand "offgoing" clutch is the clamping force but could be totally wrong
Cheers :)
