After ready through many posts and your articles I'm seeing a pattern....maybe. so please correct me if I'm off track. To start let's just say engine is tuned correctly and we start with completely stock trans tune
1. Engine-Torque Model- Eq ratio and airmass. Typical I'm seeing this being a starting point that adjusts the delivered torque number to the transmission (5% ish on both). This is where I'm a little lost on the purpose and when to or not to adjust.
2. Shift schedule- adjust to desired shift speeds and how long to hold shifts.
3. Shift timing- bring shifts in trucks close to .3 my novice understanding is lacking on the difference between torque adder and desired output torque factor. Also do you recommend changing the row labels to match actual outputs of crank torque? The final transition time, should it be set to the .3 or .5 typically?
4. Torque management-upshift - torque factor all 1.0, then cold multiplier stock, adder shifts 1.0, and finally the icing on the cake adder modifier. Adder modifier set to -1.0 below 4k rpm and -.70 above
5. Leave TM on for longevity and torque ramp in speed control terminate.
Thank you
