NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Gen5 MAF only tune

I have done well over 80 to 100 vehicle tunes with 6 and 8 speeds and usually always run them in MAF only mode for basic bolt on vehicles. With stock trans I have never had any issues with being able to dial in the trans using MAF only. Also reading that MAF cannot be lowered is the first time I have heard this, as I have never had any issues as a result of doing this.

The reason I am here and apart of this group as of yesterday is because I cannot get rid of a 3 to 4 shift flare regardless of what I do with offgoing and oncoming pressures as well as volume presets and minimums. This particular trans was rebuilt and I am inclined to say it has a not entirely stock setup because the guy who did it tends to do his little tweaks to the rebuilds which never works out well. I am just trying to resolve this via tuning before sending another customer back to this crappy trans rebuilder. Could running MAF only be causing me issues?

Its a 2016 Silverado E92/T43 setup.
