NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

OEM 6L90 TCC WOT Lock Up Strategy for Bolt on LSA Opinion

Hi Waker,

I got around to installing my OEM ZL1 6 bolt converter into my 6L90. Definately alot tighter than the old stall. But nice to have WOT lock up again. I did not get it re-stalled.

I wanted to ask you about lockup strategy at WOT. Car is bolt on LSA with stock OEM converter and stock 6L90. Output approx 680rwhp on E85. Partial throttle I only lock in 5th and 6th.

Would you mind taking a look at the below stategy. Ideally this is preperation for taking it to the strip for it's virgin run:

  • 1 Unlocked
  • 1 -> 2 Unlocked
  • 2 Unlocked
  • 2 -> 3 Command lock up 1km/h before shift to 3rd is triggered. Thus lock up should occur during the 2 -> 3 change
  • 3 -> 4 Locked
  • ......

Cheers, Nathan
