NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Stock 6L80 Trans Tuning

I am curious about what can be done with tuning to make a stock 6L80 in a 2015 pickup last longer. I have been told to disable converter lockup for normal driving in 1-4 gear, and to disable dod. I have also heard multiple answers as to what should be done with converter slip when locked. For stock converters, I've been told everything from leave it stock, drop slip speed to 5-10 rpm, and have also been told to drop it to 0 rpm, but most bave said 0 rpm on a stock converter may cause issues. I have also been told to drop slip to 0, only if you have a billet converter. What should be done to a stock unit, or even a unit with a billet converter for longevity? Mainly looking to have a transmission that will last, and work better than factory. Thank you!
