NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

TCC Adapts question

Hey all - new user, first post!  Unlike the vast majority of users here, my car is actually a lowly V6 FWD car with a 6T70 (2012 Impala LT w/3.6L LFX and 6T70 trans).  I'm using HPTuners .2.24 (still prefer it over 3.x for my uses and my tuning device).

In my stock tune, the TCC Adapt "Torque Min" and "Torque Max" are set as follows:

   - Torque Min: 22 ft. lb.

   - Torque Max: 15 ft. lb.

I'm assuming that those values basically mean that TCC adapts are disabled.  Is there any benefit in enableing them (with values like Min=30 and Max=369, for example)?  It would seem to min that you'd want to take advantage of the adaptive capabilites of the T43/6T70 for the TCC...

All of the other TCC adapt values (Trans temp min/max, TPS min/max, VSS min/max) are using "sane" values that would enable TCC adapts - but I'm assuming that since the Torque min/max being set ike they are, that TCC adapts are basically disabled (assuming all adapt conditions need to be met to enable adapts).

But I'm obviously just a novice, so I wanted to see what the experts had to say!  :-)

Thank you very much - you'll be getting more questions from this novice in the near future!
