NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

tcc slip that feels like a cylinder misfire

I am a transmission rebuilder. I rebuilt a 6l90e in a 2012 ctsv. the car has about 650 hp to the wheels. I used alot of upgraded parts purchased from PATC. I also sent them the tcm to program for upgrades to the car. After the job was completed ,it seem to work good. Idid not drive the car hard, so to give the trans time to break in.  I did feel what felt to me like a misfire. The customer was having some other engine problems, a few days later. He took the car to a local tuner that was helping him tune the car. They found the misfire is the tcc slipping. It feels just like a cylinder misfire. The tcc slip rpm jumps up to about 60 rpm for a split second. The tuner man is unable to correct this. My question to you is, have you seen this before? Also have you heard of tuning using the info from a different car like a zl1. The tuner said he has no control over the tcc pressure. The tcm is not setting any codes. The people from PATC no longer do tcm programing.  In fact the people doing the tuning before no longer work there.  Thankyou for any help you can offer.
