Torque Management & EFI Live question... 2011 GMC 2500 HD E78 ECM/T43 6.0/6L90

NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Torque Management & EFI Live question... 2011 GMC 2500 HD E78 ECM/T43 6.0/6L90

Paid and joined today. First off let me say $50.00 is a drop in the bucket for all the hours of testing/knowledge it takes to get good at dialing in anything so thanks for the site!

I have EFI Live which I am starting to wonder has nearly as many tables/options as HPT seems to offer. Granted I have a special case with the 2500 HD using the E78 ECM which seems to have a limited number of people who know anything about it. I have tuned several setups over the years but the 6L90 in my daily driver is my first of the breed. I have the engine dialed in great. The trans is near perfect but one thing eludes me, how to reduce the % of torque management commanded during the shifts. I have noticed nice gains from upping pressure patterns, shortening shift intervals and commanding the shifts at more appropriate times for empty bed/non-towing street duty. The one thing that still bugs me is the sharp drop in power with the slow ramp in after the shift. I dont want to grenade the trans, and dont care to snap necks, bark every gear etc but would like a more linear transition of power through the gears.

Thanks again in advance and great site!
