NEW!!!

I will make one calibration change for an additional $100 per change. For example, changing a shift point for a given gear is $100 vs changing a shift point and a pressure setting would be $200. That value can be used towards the full custom tuning price.

Tuning "Quadrolock" 4 Disk lock up converter

Have 1000+ rwh 5th gen camaro (depending on size of shot) and last talked to you about 2nd gear launches about 18 mo ago. Since then I found limits of old 416 aluminum block and had a new LSx built and retained my maxed out TVS 2300 blower spinning about 23-24k but added direct port nitrous but it took over a year to complete. Now I'm back at tuning trans again. I have built 6l80e spraying 200 shot and tune has been pretty good but have not sprayed through shifts yet. I now have a desire to do some testing and spray 200-250 shot on top of 14-16 lbs boost through the 2nd-3rd shift. All my previous test without spraying through shifts had Oncomming Pressure Preset pressues set at 0 @ 250 1 @ 600 and 2 @1,200 kpa's. Should I go ahead and max settings these out?

I have always ran with an unlocked converter but now desire to lockup in 3rd. (Mostly 1/8 mile stuff) I still drive car on street and have lockup in 5th and 6th for highway use. I have had my Regulator Gain set at 1.5 and Regulator Offset set at 75 psi. for all previous runs and seems to be driving and shifting very well. First built trans lasted  a very long tiime considering the heavy a** car, substantial HP and full time 29" x10.5W's x 15" slicks

Recently made a couple of test hits locking in 3rd. I found the converter starts locking at part throttle at approx. 50 lbs psi and takes about 0.7 seconds to get to max 110 psi.

My question!

Is this too much latency or time to get to full lockup or do you recommend alternative settings? You FAQ article recommends setting the Gain to 1 and the Offset to 0 psi.  Will your recommeded settings speed up this lockup transition? I have not made a full throttle hit while going from unlocked to locked except with HP Tuners set manually and pressure indicating 594 psi (I know this pressure is only applicable while manually commanding lockup with HP Tuners) I was worried about making full throttle hits with this much "drag" or latency before pressures reflect full lockup. Sorry for such a long post but a I wanted to make sure of my questions. I will attach my current HPT file if you find time please take a look. Thank you
